Dark is a Tamil-language psychological horror-thriller directed by debutant Kalyan K. Jegan, starring Ajay Karthi (in his first lead role), Anchana Nethrun, and the late K. Bhagyaraj. The story follows a young man who moves into a house with a disturbing history while looking for accommodation closer to his workplace. A police investigation frames the story of an atheist office worker whose life descends into terror, frustration and paranoia after relocating to this home with a troubled past, forcing him to question his distorted sense of reality and his views on the paranormal as hidden truths resurface.
