Alya's rejection pushes Boran beyond his limits, the anger he has long repressed toward Cihan becomes impossible to control. Wanting to protect Alya, Cihan is forced to make a heavy decision, and with the hope of someday reuniting, he and Alya mutually agree to divorce. This decision strengthens Boran's position.
